Didn't a lot of the individuals who followed Rosa Parks example get beaten
with billy clubs?


How many individuals of the original colinies were clubbed by Red Coat
soldiers?

Weren't many of the Civil Rights protesters and workers threatened with
revolvers, and worse?


BS>At what point does their resistence cross the line of having

How long will it take before enough Americans stand up and draw the line, and
the Courts start paying attention to the will of The People?


Demanding that government observe one's rights is *never* stupid.



There is a lack-a-dasical attitude of `freedom', and `individual rights' in
this country, that did not exist back when Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks,
and many others stood their ground in the bus, and in the resturant, and
demanded to be recognized as people who's rights needed to be respected (and
not just given lip service).


The courts and the government are playing loose and careless with people's
rights in this country. And have been for many years.


The subject only seems to come up when one or two individuals are in a
courtroom facing charges. The people who read about it shrug and say `gee,
they shouldn't do that, thats wrong.' Thats if the news media even bothers to
present it in its proper light.


Ownership and possession of firearms is a good example.


The Constitution gives every citizen the right to keep and bear arms.


It says that ".......... the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall
not be infringed."


Period. It doesn't say anything about it just `talking about a militia';
thats a crap argument the gun grabbers will toss out there. Thats bull.


Yet, every year since Kennedy was killed, the government has been making
greater and greater efforts to restrict that right.


They will keep on until one morning people will wake up and find that right
gone. Only words on a 200-plus year old document, that the government denies
even means what it says.


The voters gather signatures to put an issue on a ballot, vote on it, pass it
overwhelmingly, only to have some government court pop up and nulify it.
Thats voter nulification. Not all that many years ago (I forget what the case
was) a judge didn't like the verdict a jury brought in. So the judge set the
jury's verdict aside, issued the court's own verdict, and nothing was said or
done about it.
