As with seemingly everything else you post John, you are 
factually incorrect.  Labor Day week-end 1996, the one 
time, we (WL and I) did attend.

Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that 
the conservative  weasels in the echo gloated and 
otherwise went on and on as to the fact that no 
liberal ever attended the Peach Fest.

Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that I was 
supplying feeds to a goodly number of those who were 
going to attend.

Perhaps it had something to do that I also posted maps, 
lodging locations, etc. to Stan's house on one of my 
websites so that it would make getting to Villarica a 
tad easier for any who planned to attend.

Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that I 
wished to see for myself, up close and personal, if 
the aforementioned conservative weasels acted as 
effin' idiotic in person as they did the the echo. 
For the most part, they did not.

For whatever reason, we attended and had a pleasant 
enough time.  You, McCormack and I even had a chat 
or two about our common experiences, separated by 
hundreds of miles, with the "good" times of the 80s, 
remember John?

Had the only positive thing about the trip been 
making the aquaintence of Charlie Doll, it would have 
made it more than worth the effort, but there were many 
more positives than that.

That being said, taking advantage, one time or many times, 
of hospitality offered, does not mean giving a lifetime 
pass to the host to act like an effin' asshole.


Did I mention that it was the one time in 1996, John?
