I've come to the conclusion that it was a good thing that Clinton was not
convicted by the Senate.  Even though they were gutless in not convicting him,
had they done so Al Gore would've taken over, and he would've been far worse,
and likely to win the next election as incumbent.  I think maybe some of those
Senators looked into the future and saw Gore as president and got a good scare,
and voted NO because of it.
