Sorry, but you fail to see the Democrat Party for what it is.  Standing up in
Congress and demanding that Bush tell us when he's pulling out the troops is
counter-productive.  Attacking Bush at every turn and trying to hamstring his
efforts to fight terrorism is counter-productive. Cindy Sheehan and her
insanity is counter-productive.  I could go on, but I think you see a trend
there.  All that stuff enhances the danger our troops are in because it makes
the enemy think we don't have the will to continue the fight.  Then there's the
media, which rejoices every time they post a story that they think shows we are
losing.  Its the Vietnam Syndrome all over again, and 99% of it is coming from
the left.

I have no problem with anybody who is against war in general, but when we are
IN a war, and we have troops in harm's way, then it little short of treason in
my mind when anyone does anything that adds to the danger they are in.  I also
remember that in the days after 9/11 a whole shitload of Democrats got up
making firey speeches about getting back at whoever attacked us, and the vote
giving Bush authority to go after them was damn near unanimous on BOTH sides.

So, spare me the platitudes about liberals and how they really, really, really
care.  Its all eyewash and bullshit.
