By this are you counting the elderly, women and children? They certainly 
out number the men enlisted in the British Army.

Probably because the article isn't talking about what the myths 
regarding the French in WWI and WWII are. This article deals with myths 
accepted as facts regarding the service of the Arabs during WWI and 
WWII.
