You should see downtown today, the skyline looks like they're trying to
duplicate Manhattan. They've built all these multi-million dollar condos down
there and they just keep growing taller. These folks who buy these condos
apparently never noticed all the train tracks in downtown and are now pitching
fits about the train noise. This same kind of people move in next to airports
and then bitch because the planes are loud. Yes, the freight, Am Track and
coasters are loud, they have really big diesel engines, but the trolleys are
electric and virtually silent. Federal laws dictate that trains must sound
their horns at crossings, those trains with diesel engines' horns are very
loud, but the trolleys' aren't loud at all but they bitch about the trolleys
too. Needless to say I'm not a fan of these whiners who want to force the
trains to break federal law by not sounding their horns. The lesson here? If
you don't like noise don't move near a train yard.
