What is going on today is a redux of the late 1800s where white men wouldn't
work as hard, as fast or as cheaply as the Chinese would building the railroad.
Of all of the people listed by you none of them had *LAWS* enacted the ban
their immigration completely. The Chinese were barred by the Chinese
Exclusionary act. There's a book that I read that you might enjoy called The
Chinese in America by Iris Chang. The parallels between the Chinese in the
1880s and the Mexican Nationals today are astounding.
