I am blessed in that my only son has a metal bar in his chest and cannot join
and therefore could not be drafted so this is the one thing I don't have to
worry about with him. My son-in-law shows no interest in joining and my
daughter is needed in her home and job (RN in a convalescent center). My heart
and prayers go to the Hardegree son, though. May he come home safely again.
