People who are blind with rage with Bush and/or Cheney will 
distort *anything* to make Bush/Cheney look bad.  Truth has 
nothing to do with it, though they'd probably *like* it if the 
truth was involved ... as you point out, "met" doesn't include 
merely *seeing* someone.  If that were so I could point out the 
time I "met" Dwight Eisenhower -- I saw him on the rear platform of 
the observation car of a train as he campaigned in 1952 ...
