Kerry is just playing at power, as are most senators.  Real power comes when
you move into the White House.  Like most liberals, its the power he's after,
not the honor of serving in the office.

Or, which is just as likely, they will go the other way and co-opt his methods,
rendering him ineffective at least in their arena.
