There's an elephant sitting in your living room on your sofa and you refuse to
see it.  As I said, MOST liberals when they come into this echo, have a
tendency to act as if they have ALL the answers.  They sit back and pontificate
on "the right way" and they spout DNC boilerplate rhetoric almost verbatim.  It
gets almost comical at times.  During the last Clinton campaign for example,
Ted Kennedy or some other prominent Dem would appear on one of the early
morning talk shows and make some grandiose statement, making certain to use all
the proper phrases and touch all the proper points in the litany of attacks
against the GOP opponent.  By noon, virtually every Democrat from east to west
who was appearing on some TV news show, would be saying the SAME THINGS
verbatim, and by 5 PM the messages that showed up in THIS echo from the
liberals posters would be saying the same things verbatim as well.  NOT the
posters opinions - his real thoughts - but the DNC psychobabble from the 7 AM
morning show circuit.  We couldn't find a liberal who was capable of discussing
anything without devolving into them turning it into a spit spewing rant right
out of DNC talking point memos and repeats of the talk show rhetoric.  That's
when Stan came up with the "intelligent liberal" phrase.

See, we don't give a damn what the DNC says.  And we don't give a damn what the
Democrat leadership and its minions say for the cameras on the talk show
circuit.  (And don't mistake me here, we don't like it when Republicans do it
either.)  We expect YOU to post what YOU think.  We want YOUR opinions, not a
regurge of what Joe Biden or Chuckie Schumer or Maxine Waters had to say, word
for word.

When liberals do nothing but regurgitate the PC rhetoric put out by the DNC and
the Dem leadership it isn't very intelligent. 

Ed's comments to Bjorn are a reaction to what Bjorn has said to Ed and others
here.  Bjorn is an woefully misinformed person, and very much anti-American,
and despite what he says, he is making no attempt at all to correct his
misunderstanding.  As for taglines, people use taglines for two reasons:  One,
as a filler at the end of a message because the software is set up that way, or
to make some sort of statement with throw-away one liners.  If people take them
the wrong way, it is likely because the poster has said something that makes it
appear the tagline was deliberate.  If you are getting flak over a tagline, it
is most likely for the latter reason and not the former.

Then grow some thicker skin, and make an effort to BE civil.  Like I said, the
ball is in your court.  You show that you're big enough to rise above the
pettiness and you'll find that we'll be right there ready to have a debate with
you.
