They aren't.  Nor are they "plugged into" the DNC either.  The media is the
media and has its own agenda.  HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that *most of the
time* that agenda is running dead parallel with the agenda of the left.  I've
been observing this stuff since 1956, when I sat up with my dad and watched
election returns for Ike.  There are a very few standouts that I would call
basically conservative in the media (The Washington Times, and the Wall Street
Journal), and one that is essentially half and half (Fox).  The rest all lean
left to varying degrees as suits them, until they smell blood in the water,
then they all go after the blood, regardless of what affiliation it might be.
