Hello All!

Parking lot mentality:

[Fire Lanes]

People who park in firelanes under the guise that they will only be in the
store for a minute.

or

Who leave the engine running thinking that makes it ok to park in the firelane.

[Handicap Parking Places]

People using these spots who arent handicapped or carrying passengers who are
handicapped even if a permit is displayed. I am talking about those who bounce
out of the car and walk normally, showing no indication or cardiac, pulmonary
or skeletal limitations.

Do the parking lot regulations only apply to everyone else and not to these
people?

[Vultures]

A vulture is someone who either follows you or someone else to a relatively
close parking spot, parks one car length away, puts on their turn signal and
waits for that person to vacate their parking spot, even if that person has
oodles of groceries to load, in the meantime they are blocking the whole lane,
so others cant go by or otherwise pull out. Lazy idiots!

Note: If I see a vulture eyeing my spot as I unload, I get in car and wait them
out until they leave.

[Southern Mentality to snow and ice]

If winter precipitation is forecasted to me imminent:

Rule Number one:

Close schools, churches, social, civic, athletic events!

Rule number two:

Goto grocery stores and rape and pillage them, stock up on bread and milk.

Ok the stage is set..

Now during or immediately after the weather event, get bored at home and go out
shopping, expecting retail workers to risk their arses on roads that the
highway depts arent equipped to keep clear like they would be in a northern
climate, so that they can shop. Also a few yahoos think that their SUV's give
them instant safety on the roads..

Yes folks we had a relatively small ice/snow event yesterday, as I type its
rapidly melting, yesterday the roads were hazardous although in my FWD Ford
Focus, I had no issues and did not lose traction, but I know the secrets to
driving on the stuff "when I have to", keep the speed down, no sudden steering,
accelerating or braking. Had customers come in that were bored and some were
pissed that our competition and the nearby shopping mall had closed!!

Now I just have issues with the fact that they close their churches and schools
and other events out of a need to safeguard them people, but have no regard for
us retail workers! Down here, knowing how to drive in this stuff is one thing,
it will not protect you from the "other guy" tho.
