True. I have an old .410 that was my grandfather's. It's a single shot. He used
to keep it next to the front door with a shell full of #8. After my grandfather
died, my dad had it and he also kept it loaded, but in the closet. After my dad
died, my mother wanted the thing out of the house. I took it home with me. When
I opened the breach a 30 or 40 year old shell popped out.

Many years ago, when I was in my early teens, I fired the thing. Back then,
those shells were working. I'm not too sure about them now. I don't use the
gun, it is more an heirloom now.

It's a model 1929. I'd have to go look at it to see who made it.
