TR> So.....that excuses it then.....`people will gossip'!
RS>No, it does not.
RS>It doesn't excuse the vcious gossip about Obama either.
RS>But will this be the usual?
`Vicious gossip'? *What* `vicious gossip'? Hussein Obama had one of the
easiest presidential campaigns I've seen in the last fifty years.
RS>Oh that's different!
(yawn)
RS>> Where was all your outrage when conservative groups were saying
RS>> they had a tape of Michelle Obama making a anti-American speech?
TR> I wasn't paying attention to Hussein's wife much. But some of the

RS>Like what?
RS>Specifically and in context, Tim.
First of all......you don't get to make any demands on what I say or think.
You don't pay my rent or buy my food. So keep that demanding attitude of yours
to yourself. Thats one of the *many* reasons I rarely if ever talk to you, the
way you take what was a calm, quiet conversation and try to turn it into a
lynching.
Secondly.....to answer your question, one of the very first speeches she made
at the beginning of the campaign was something along the lines of this being
the first time she was proud of this country!
Her exact words were, I think:
"For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country."
....Michele Obama
That sort of thinking and talking is not geared to make too many friends or
influence people. And it doesn't speak very well for what she really thinks of
her country. Not encouraging.
RS>> (Which never did come out, BTW)

TR> Thats the silliest excuse for slinging dirt at someone I've seen in a
TR> long time.
RS>Oh?
TR> On the day of delivery of a grand-daughter, if the grandmother blows
TR> her nose.. ...does that make her a slob? After all.........its her
TR> `own actions'.
RS>Tim, Palin took a flight home, AFTER her water broke with this
RS>pregnancy.
RS>A long several-hour flight to Alaska.
So what! Does that *prove* something? Should she have gotten on...say.. a
space shuttle?
And by the way......how many times in the past have *you* flown into Alaska?
Tell us about the most recent time you've sat in an aircraft that was
negotiating a landing pattern into an Alaska airport.
I've done it, and can tell you I would *never* deliberately buy a ticket on an
airplane I knew was going to make a stop in Alaska. The first and only time I
ever did it, I was in the Army, under travel orders, and had no choice in the
matter. Given a choice of what transportation I'd use to go visit Alaska...I'd
take a tractor-trailer. Any newpaper or TV news reporter who gets all het up
because a couple of aircraft had a *near-miss* by passing within one or two
thousand feet of each other.....has never been in the window seat of an
aircraft that is establishing a glide path into an Alaska airport. They don't
know what the term *near-miss* means! I don't blame Palin for going on a slow
plane. I'm surprised anyone gets on a plane going into Alaska!
TR>> She'd had an affair with some friend of her husband;
RS>> And...?
TR> It turned out to be a bald-faced lie, made up out of rage at Palin
TR> being the vice-president pick of the republicans.
RS>Do you know this 100% for sure?
RS>Easy answer, no you don't.
Yeah...I do! Ask me how I do.
RS>And to be totally honest, I don't give a (bleep) if it is true or not.
RS>It's between Palin and her husband.
Yeah.......you `do' care. Again......ask me `why' you care.
RS>> How many wild rumors are you bozos *STILL* flying around about
RS>> Obama? Secret Muslim, not a US citizen, etc.
I don't care what his religion is, but I do care if he lawfully fulfills the
legal requirements to be the president of the United States. And so far...
nothing absolutely positive in the way of proof has been shown that he is.
In fact.....there has been a lot more effort expended to conceal whatever
proof there is one way or the other, than there has been to `get that positive
proof out, and into the public eye'.
My experience has been that, when there is more effort to `conceal' than there
is to `get out the facts'.....something is definitely wrong!
TR> First of all, in my years of watching political campaigns and their
TR> aftermath come and go, one thing I've learned is, when there is
TR> deliberate effort on the part of an individual to avoid putting
TR> information out in the public sector to be carefully scrutinized by
TR> all.......something is seriously amiss.
RS>Fine. Got any credible evidence for the wild rumors?
RS>Didn't think so.
Pay attention to this closely.......and *think* about it:
*I* didn't start any rumors about it.....they came along in the campaign.
Secondly......the best and most effective way of putting those `rumors' to
rest once and for all is to `get that proof of `born in America' out to the
public, in such a way as allows whatever documentation to be carefully
examined, and lets know for certain one way or the other.
That has *not* happened....in fact there has been far too much effort to avoid
such, which raises a lot of questions.
TR>> Her daughter was pregnant and wasn't married; (which, by the way,
TR> was TR> true, but none of anyone's business, and certainly not a
TR> political TR> issue.)
RS>> Palin *HERSELF* made it an issue, by trotting out her pregnant
TR> daughter.
TR> She did no such thing. She did what pretty well every presidential and
TR> vice- presidential candidate has done for many, many election cycles
TR> since I was born: introducing their immediately family, and\or having
TR> the immediate family members present and onstage with them at the
TR> beginning of a campaign.
RS>She *HERSELF* said her daughter was pregnant.
RS>You can deny it until you are blue in the face, it won't change the
RS>facts.
She may have said something along the line of her daughter being pregnant with
her and her husbands first grandchild.....that is *hardly* granting license to
slam her, her daughter, etc etc....over something so trivial!
TR> I could understand if Palin had maybe individually introduced her
TR> daughter by; `and this is my daughter, who is
TR> pregnant-but-unmarried'....or some such. But she didn't.
RS>She did.
Not in the context you are trying to paint it! Again.you're so anxious to
raise a lynch mob you are inventing BS for your own agenda.
"Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew
would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the
responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and
support." ....Sarah Palin
RS>And Sarah Palin wants only abstinence taught in public schools, like she
RS>taught her daughter. Sure worked out well for the daughter, right?
*You* went to school. You were given all the basic necessities of knowledge to
make your own way in life, be a productive member of this society, and deal
with your own problems, be self-supportive......how did *you* turn out?
RS>BTW, the kid's Daddy has broken off their engagement.
Nobody's business but theirs.
RS>So now the daughter is going to raise the kid as an unwed single Mom.
Nobody's business but hers and her parents.
TR> The biggest problem the democrat mud-slinging had over it was the girl
TR> hadn't chosen to have an abortion.
RS>Bullshit.
RS>It was Palin *HYPOCRISY* on this.
*What* "Hypocrisy*! *SHE wasn't the one who got pregnant....it was her
daughter!
RS>Answer the question.
I don't answer on demand Sauer......especially at `your' demand. Take your
hangin' rope and go piss your pants. This conversation with you is at an end.
