Ärende: ETHICAL DEBATE
======================
JF>> "We"? I can have a discussion about race without getting
JF>> "hysterical". So can most people. Do you feel you can't?
BK>> I doubt you have ever in your life had a serious talk about
BK>> race. Not with anyone who didn't see things pretty much
BK>> the way you do.
JF>> I am sorry to hear about your doubts and your views
JF>> about this nation as a whole.
BK>> Esp since my views reflect reality.
JF>> You've only confirmed your ignorance here, Bob.
BK>> Oh? Tell us about all the discussions about race
BK>> Americans are having, between the races.
JF>> You mean like the one we're having now? Like the ones
JF>> we just had in this conf about using racist terms
JF>> like 'white trash'?
BK>> John, if you can't have those discussions with
BK>> black people they don't mean anything.
JF> You mean everything you've said here doesn't have meaning
JF> because you're not Black?
No, because you're not.
I talk to black people about serious subjects all the time. Do
you?
JF> Does that mean you object to
JF> all whites raving about the black plight to other whites?
I do if it's negative toward blacks.
JF> And if you feel race is a qualification for such
JF> debates, then isn't that racist also, Bob?
No more so than a woman knowing more about being a woman than a
man does. Try to think it through.
Or would you recruit white cops to go undercover with the bloods
and crips?
JF>> Most Americans, Black, White, etc, don't have this need
JF>> to discuss 'race', probably because for them, race is not
JF>> an issue.
BK>> If you believe race is not an issue for black people
BK>> you really don't know any black people very well.
JF> Since you are not black, by your own 'logic' you have no
JF> say here. And I've met a lot of blacks who are not
JF> consumed by history, are able to look forward and make
JF> something of themselves.
And do you know this because they told you? BTW, we are not
talking about history, but current events.
JF> If they come off with the
JF> 'perpetual victimhood...you owe me' attitude, people are
JF> going to look away. Amazing.
Sounds like conservative republicans.
BK>> Why do you think so many black people were
BK>> so overwhelmed by Obama's election?
JF> Because many Blacks are racist and voted for him only
JF> because he's half white.
Now that's really off the deep end. Why would black people vote
for anyone on the basis of his white race?
BK>> Why do you think so many said things like, "I never
BK>> thought I would live to see a black man become
BK>> president of the United States."
JF> Because they were hit over the head with racism so many
JF> times they grew up thinking most people hated them
JF> simply because of the color of their skin. They were
And you demonstrate your contempt for black people, by showing
you do not consider black people to judge their own lives for
themselves.
JF> induced with the notion that they were the only people
JF> ever subjected to racism, when all they have to do is
JF> look to China and africa to see the worst case scenarios
JF> of racism that still persist to this day. But we can't
And by trying to pretend that bigotry in China and Africa
justifies bigotry in the US is another example of your contempt
for black people.
JF> have that. That would upstage all the raving of
JF> activists in this country who must keep blacks angry and
JF> divided against whites to assure their own importance.
More of your contempt for black people.
JF> That was the only reason Eric Holder, right after Obama
JF> was put into office by mostly white voters, came off
JF> with his divisive claim, calling an entire nation
JF> cowards of racial issues. Do you think he was referring
JF> to Blacks also, Bob?
Yes.
JF>> And didn't you used to have a tag line that
JF>> read: 'Race is an idea whose time has passed'?
BK>> I still have it, and use it occasionally.
JF> Yes, and now, all of the sudden, race 'is' an issue,
It has been as long as there was more than one race in this
country.
JF> because after all, Eric Holder sez so. Which is it Bob?
JF> Is race an issue or not?
Yes.
JF>> You have no idea who my friends are/were or anything
JF>> about certain members of my greater family. Your entire
JF>> line here is based on your own prejudices and ignorance.
JF>> Don't appreciate your assumptions, Mr. Klahn.
BK>> Then tell us about it. If you don't talk about
BK>> it all we have is inferences and assumptions.
JF>> That's right, Bob. That is all you have.
BK>> Then tell us, or you are just blowing smoke about
BK>> how you do have these discussions.
JF>> Don't have to prove anything to you or anyone else.
JF>> Bob. And Holder's attempts to chide people into these
JF>> discussions was only another attempt to keep the nation
JF>> divided per democrat protocol.
BK>> Do you really believe keeping it buried is not
JF> BK dividing this country?
JF> It's not buried. That corpse has been dug up and re-hung
JF> so many times it stinks.
More of your contempt for black people. It's a current issue,
not ancient history.
BK>> Do you really believe the divisions will go away if
BK>> the issues aren't discussed?
JF> Yes, I do, as there are so many positive things to look
JF> at.
Tell a doctor to look at a cancer patient and focus on her
beautiful blue eyes, not the fact that she's dying.
JF> No one is saying forget the past, all I am saying
JF> is, don't focus on it and don't chide or try to
JF> intimidate people into such discussions.
Before you said racial issues were a corpse. Now you admit they
are real, but don't talk about them. That's exactly what Holder
was talking about. We are not talking about ancient history, but
current events.
JF> Holder is
JF> another racist jerk, a typical leftist agitator and
JF> worst of all, a hypocrite.
Why? Because he want's you to actually learn about something?
BK>> Above you said I have no idea who your family and frieds
BK>> are/were. I do know you don't have any close black friends or
BK>> relatives...
JF> Excuse me sir, you know no such things, today or
JF> yesterday, so I will politely ask you to back off in the
JF> personal/family department. Thanks.
I do know it's true. You may know black people, but if you don't
know the problems they have faced because of race you do not
have close friends.
BK>> ..not close enough to discuss these issues, or you
BK>> would know better than to say what you have.
JF> On the contrary, I've gotten several of these insights
JF> from Blacks, and your notion that all Blacks march to
JF> your drummer is yet another racist assertion you have
JF> wagered at Blacks.
Your notion that all blacks are either monoliths or they don't
have any problems is a sign of your lack of respect for black
people.
JF> You should learn some day that many
JF> Blacks have their own minds and as such have a variety of
JF> views concerning their/our history.
And how many blacks who grew up in this country didn't face
racial discrimination? Any? Even Condi Rice will set you
straight on that.
And it ain't your history they lived.
