I encounter people all the time whom confuse my name by calling me Russ instead
of Ross, Ross is my legal first name.. You are the first to do so in the

As to your earlier snipe,,,

I didnt deliberately want people to see or not to see pertinent info..

I caught the story in my RSS feed reader, Google Reader, and included what I
found, please see my comments to Ceppa regarding aggregated news.

I posted it because it sounded outrageous at first and on the surface and to an
extent it still is as the other details of the story began to be revealed, like
the county withdrawing its demands for the permit and the Preacher paying for
damages in the fender bender..

Had these gatherings been related to something other than religion, I doubt
many of you would be siding against the man. But of course the only reason the
story got out beyond San Diego media is that religion was involved.

After all, do you regularly read in national news stories about shoplifters
apprehended for stealing chewing gum w/o incident in a city hundreds of miles
from you? Nope you wouldnt, unless such story involved something more
horrendous, if it bleeds it leads.. etc..

No I posted the story to start debate and if you are such an expert on me Mr
Drum, you would know I dont often post or import news stories..

I more often than not, comment on existing debate started by someone posting
some snippet from some obscure left wing blog that spouts conspiracy theories.

I will tell you all what I have in my Google Reader..

Urban Legends (Feed from snopes)
Yahoo News, Oddly Enough  (Weird and unusual news)
AP News
Foxnews
WSPA News (Local TV station, CBS affiliate)


Of these five, only Fox should bother you leftos, which I only read the first
five or so articles, as the AP has the same content most of the time.

The rest of me feeds deal with a feed from my blog and that of a friend, then
Chris Pirillo and Cool Tools. Many of you might remember Pirillo from TechTV?

Then I take a feed from ESPN

Then slashdot and Techdirt.

All of you should learn to use a RSS reader..
