You don't understant the concept of insurance - nor do most people
who support Obamacare.

You can believe that if you want to.  I believe that all that nice
private sector insurance will go away as insurors abandon that
government-controlled market.  Then you will have that "single
payer" system you want.  After that happens the government
can go about its goal of eliminating private *providers*, and
once that is accomplished there it will be a *single provider"
system.

Call Culligan and have them install a filtration/purification system -
at my expense, of course.  Approximately $2K for my existing system
and problem, or about $20/month if I want to lease rather than purchase
the equipment.

Or I can buy filtered drinking water at the local supermarkets and use that
for drinking and cooking, and use the non-potable well water for washing.
