Ärende: New Form Of Government On
=================================
RC> Hello All!
RC> Klahnunism
RC> ==========
RC> The way things are or ought to be, under Klahnunism in
RC> Klahntopia.
The fact that you can't argue a point without turning it into
arguing the person is an indication of the weakness of your
position, and your personal inability to carry a point.
RC> 1. The Government Is Mother, the Government Is Father.
If that were so, why do I belong to the party that has
consistently pushed jobs as the answer to poverty? Whereas you
support the side that increases welfare and poverty.
RC> 2. Conservatism is Illegal.
Nonsense. I would never try to criminalize error. I firmly
support your right to be wrong. A right you exercise so very
often.
RC> 3. The Second Amendment Is Repealed.
I own a rifle. Notice I said a rifle, not a gun. Ok a Carbine to
be more precise. But not a gun.
RC> 4. If one gets rich, is rich and achieved the resulting
RC> wealth because of hard work, great skill, they must have
Wealth and rich are nebulous terms. However, the very rich never
become that way because of hard work and great skill, other than
great skill at getting true wealth producers money away from
them.
RC> exploited the system, and must be punished by having said
RC> wealth or a huge percentage of it forcibly confiscated by
RC> Mother And Father, See Rule #1.
Not at all, the wonderously generous very rich will give
willingly.
RC> 5. As a result of Rule #4, stock brokers, sales of any
RC> nature involving commissions and being a professional
RC> athlete, benefiting from games of chance are illegal.
Uh... boy did you mix those up. Stock brokers aren't all bad,
but many are. Or, more precisely, unproductive. If they work for
the good of the clients they do provide a worthwhile service. If
they churn the client's portfolio they deserve to go to prison.
Commissions are another matter entirely. They can be very good,
because they often result in much better service. However, since
I don't know of anyone who became very rich through commissions
on work he did personally, I don't see your point. Even H Ross
Perot had to quit his commission job to start his own company to
get rich.
As to Atheletes, I have previously stated my position that,
since they are out there actually doing their job in front of
the world, they can claim they deserve their pay. I often don't
agree, but so do most fans when a star blows it.
RC> 6. Per Rule #5 the following areas will be converted to
RC> Section 8 Housing:
Wrong! The whole point of the democratic economic philosophy is
to do away with welfare housing by moving people into decent
jobs paying a living wage. IOW, we want to eliminate poverty,
not subsidize it. Welfare is just a temporary stopgap. Or would
be if the republicans would stop screwing up the economy.
RC> Wall Street And All Other Financial Districts.
No, Wall Street is schedualed to be nuked. Didn't you read the
exchanges with Richard Webb? Pay attention man!
RC> All Professional Sporting Venues.
Not as long as the Mud Hens do well, fool.
RC> Las Vegas NV, Atlantic City NJ and all other venues
RC> catering to games of chance.
I do believe gambling should be illegal. It is a threat to
society.
RC> 7. The poor shall be rewarded by being able to live in
RC> places such as what is provided for by Rule #6 and live off
RC> of what Rule #4 provides.
There won't be any poor, so that part is absurd.
RC> Those receiving this, will show
RC> their gratitude by thinking the Klahnites are helping them,
RC> therefore will eternally vote for Klahnunistic candidates
RC> for public office.
Hell, they will become candidates. And likely much better than
the best the republicans can come up with. Looking at the
current crop, that could be no better than a team of broken down
race horses. Esp since gambling ... oh well...
RC> 8. Regardless of what one makes, all people shall enjoy the
RC> same net take home pay, example:
That would be dumb. Just take unemployment down to trivial and
that will work itself out. Remember, a couple decades ago the
typical CEO made about 30 times what the average worker made, or
less. Today it's more like 400 times.
Back in the late '60s Robert Townsend set the figure at 7 times.
Back when he became CEO of Avis.
RC> This is called the New Fair Tax System.
The current system isn't too bad, once we repeal all the Bush
distortions.
RC> 9. Right To Work States are abolished, all workers must
RC> join a union.
Unions won't be necessary once we get unemployment down to where
workers can expect to find a job in a hurry if their current
employer turns into a company of bastards. Remember what I said
about that so many times before?
RC> 10. Birth Control Pills, IUD's and condoms are abolished in
RC> favor of the new birth control, a scientific breakthrough
RC> called "Abortion".
Now that was truly stupid. I am a practicing Catholic and
pro-life. AS I have made plain over and over. However, it seems
like you won't let facts stand in the way of a rant. Typical
right winger.
RC> 11. In concert with Rule #10, abstinence is illegal.
Another stupid statement. I have raised three daughters to
adulthood, even by the old standard of age 21. And none of them
became pregnant before adulthood. Ok, only one has even after
that, and she has been married like 18 years.
How many have you raised? How did they turn out?
RC> 12. Homosexuality is no longer to be considered a protected
RC> classification, instead it is a promoted classification.
Stupid. It is a MYOB classification.
RC> 13. In concert with Rule #12, hetereosexuals are to be
RC> considered deviants.
Well, I never denied being a bit warped. As to deviant, just who
is the standard deviant?
RC> 14. School Teachers are expressly forbidden from issuing a
RC> failing grade to any student, even if the student failed to
RC> master or understand the course.
Actually, that's not a bad idea. Just teach the child so he
learns what he needs to know. That is what schools are for.
RC> 15. School sports and junior sports leagues are forbidden
RC> from keeping scores in any sport to prevent from hurting
RC> the feelings of the youngsters, we cant have goals to
RC> achieve for now can we?
Since my younger daughters played for championship basketball
teams, and my youngest was the local track star, screw your
entire line of thought. That is for those of you who can't
perform.
RC> 16. White children cannot accompany black children on
RC> public school sponsored and funded field trips to hear a
RC> black rocket scientist speak.
Uh... stupid. More likely required to. You really don't now what
you are talking about, do you? It would probably be as important
that white students hear a black scientist as for black kids to.
RC> 17. Money is grown from trees and cotton, therefore the
Well, yes... they are.
RC> bureau of engraving and printing, shall print money 24
RC> hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (366 if it is a
RC> leap year).
It won't be necessary to print that much, just enough to pay off
the massive debt Bush I Bush II and Reagan saddled us with.
I just realized, something like 80% of all the debt this country
bears was built up under those three. Or perhaps more. I'll have
to calculate it out.
RC> 18. The 14th Amendment is amended to only apply to
RC> minorities or confirmed Klahnunists.
No... that's your position. Though I wonder why you even
bothered to bring that up.
RC> 19. Materials possession's can only be obtained via
RC> government approval, exemption automatically granted for
RC> minorities and klahnunists.
Stupid. When everyone has a decent job with a good income your
entire line of BS will become irrelevant.
RC> 20. The displaying of the American Flag within the confines
RC> of USA soil, shall be illegal.
I wore the uniform. I served this country. I saluted the flag,
truly saluted while in uniform. What is your excuse?
RC> 21. Religion is outlawed, exemptions granted for
RC> Klahnunists.
Again, I am a practicing Catholic. Someday I may get good at it.
As such it is my duty to try to presuade you to become Catholic.
Since conversion must be voluntary, we have to tolerate the
existance of other faiths until all of you become convinced to
join the one true church.
RC> 22. See Rules 1-21!
RC> Party Officials:
RC> Karl Klahn - Chairman
RC> Josef J. Wilson - Vice Chairman
Ross, that has to be one of the dumbest things you, or anyone
else, has ever posted in Fidonet.
Isn't it time you grew up, just a bit?

... Practicing Catholic, someday I may be good at it.
