 That's your position, I disagree. I hold that those who benefit
 more should pay more.

 Wage restrictions go back well into the early days of this
 country. And go back well before this country. I wonder why any
 govt would want to import poverty. Or to develop it locally.

 I don't recall saying that, in those words, but I do believe
 those who benefit more paying more is paying their fair share.
 Or closer to it.

 As it was BB, Before Bush, they were paying closer to their
 fair share.

 You see, the choice of words can slide the meaning all over the
 place. They may well have paid a higher share, in dollars, but
 not a higher share of their income. I do believe they should pay
 a higher percentage of their income overall, because they have
 more left over after necessities, they have benefited more.

  But that is another issue entirely.

  Don't make the mistake of thinking income tax is the only tax.
