No they don't make them anymore and I don't have the circuit schematic.
We are talking about a *long* time ago, say 1966-67 or thereabouts.
Heck I wish I could get hold of one.

Parts came in two box halves.
The bottom was red, perferated and was numbered and lettered like a map
up ajacent sides for parts placement directions.

The clear top became the bottom.
You hand wound 5 coils for the various bands clipping the coils in
spring clips.
This was your bandswitch.
One FET worked as an infinite impedence detector while the second
FET operated both as a RF and small audio amplifier, earphone only.
RC network kept the signals segregated.
A potentiometer controlled sensitivity ( regeneration level) with
maximum just below where it saturated or broke into oscillation.

Got the Neatherlands, Quito Ecuador, WWV and numerous other
stations on that puppy.
Powered by a 9 volt battery like in a smoke detector.

They had a whole series of such kits but that was for my money the
most impressive of the bunch.

Also there was a 1 tube battery powered broacast band receiver
that IIRC had a 1.5 volt D cell for heater and (2)-22 1/2 volt
photoflash batteries for the plate voltage.

I was a geeky kid going on to Heathkits, VHF FM. and all sorts of
strange home brew electronics projects, home photo developing, solid
propellant ( Estes) model rockets, alcohol powered model airplanes...

I understand the model rocket enthusiasts today are severely hampered
by Homeland Security regulations just to add something topical.
Background checks for hobbyists ordering the model rocket engines,
restricted engine shipping, quantity limits, ect.

I think United Nuclear ran afoul of Homeland security too.
They sell all sorts of interesting oxidizers, uranium, aerogel
and other weirdness.
I love the animated graphic of the old time B&W T.V. geeky looking
dude whose eyebrows jump up and and down repeatedly as he inquires
"what to buy some uranium?" that's on their web site.
