Fertility clinics have to make a lot, since even the best "test-tube" 
baby programs, can take up to 7 or 8 times implanting an embryo, before 
one takes.

Best estimate, 5,000 to 10,000 embryos are tossed out each year.

For the woman, it's not pleasant at ALL.
She has to take a drug to increase her egg production, and it totally 
messes up her "cycle," and causes all kinds of side-effects, including 
severe cramps.
