While the money aspect is mostly the aim.....the liberal agenda of the main
stream media can't be ignored.


One of the things that guage that is the main stream media's constant drum
beat of defeat in the war we are trying to fight against international
terrorists.


Probably the greatest example of the main stream media's liberal agenda was
the attempt by Dan Rather to torpedo Bush's re-election with his infamous
`memo'.


I was one of those who cheered at Rather's downfall.


The only thing I deeply regret is it came about thirty or so years too late.

The media will take a `nothing' situation and pound on it forever, wringing
every drop of maudlin interest from it that is possible to get.


Of course.......they will also `deliberately' fail to report anything that is
counter to, or that would tend to upset `their' view of what America should
be, and what Americans should think.


A good example of that would be Diane Feinstein. During the infamous `assault
weapons' debate.......Feinstein looked into the camera and said; `Come on,
Mr. and Mrs. America..........turn those guns in!'


Of course.......the fact that Feinstein was the holder of a California
`concealed carry' permit wasn't found out until someone in the conservative
camp checked on it. One wonders if, while she was busy telling `Mr. and Mrs.
America' what to do with their guns......her own gun wasn't nestled safely in
her purse a few feet from where she was standing.


The news media makes a big thing about Ted Kennedy at the camera, touting
this immigration bill he so desperately wants passed. They make a big thing
about his claim that its `good for our national security'.


Kennedy can afford to wax oratory on it.....he sees about 12 million democrat
voters brought into existance with the stroke of a pen.


What he `doesn't' see is the nightly invasion of illegal aliens across this
southern border, or the tunnels the drug smugglers use to flood America with
deadly narcotics.


Nor does he see the constant flood of foreign illegals pushing into jobs and
areas that take jobs away from Americans. Out here.......its getting harder
and harder to walk into a fast food place like McDonalds, or Burger King, or
Jack in the Box; or even an Arby's or Subway, and have your order repeated to
the preparer behind the grill in `English' and not either Spanish or Arabic.


Kennedy doesn't see that.


There was an election out here some years ago that pitted a rather
controversial individual (Bob Dornan) against an hispanic.


The problem was......the election was `very' close, but it swung to the
hispanic by a `very' thin margin. The problem was......there were votes cast
that were `obviously' cast by people who didn't even have the right to vote
in an American election.


But.....the press glossed right over that, and went to an entirely different
aspect of the election.....focusing on Dornan's fiery style in Congress, his
support for the B1 bomber, etc etc.
