Replying to a message of BOB KLAHN to TIM RICHARDSON:

Note that the ones that did come out are still in jail and will be for 
another thirty years or so.  Also note that there is *no* evidence
that the Davidians started the fire and plenty of evidence that the
fire was started unintentionally by government tanks ramming into the
occupied wood frame building.  And finally note that all of the deaths,
including the 4 dead ATF goons, could have been avoided if the law had
been followed WRT obtaining and serving search warrants.

The father had no problem with his kid moving to Florida with his mother.
Unfortunately the mother drowned en route.  The father also had no problem
with Elian remaining in Miami until Castro got upset about all the fuss being
made over the boy being a 'miracle child' of some sort; THEN he suddenly
decided he wanted his son returned to him.

Note that during the Clinton administration the heroic immigration agents
grabbed
a high school student out of South High in Omaha and shipped him to Mexico. 
The
15 year old boy was not allowed to call anybody.  Note that the boy's parents
were
*legal* immigrants in this country.  No change of clothes and no money, dumped
into Mexico by INS.  The boy was only allowed to return to his parents after
they
agreed not to sue the government.
