SO IGNORE THEM, DAMNIT!  Just as you would someone calling you names in
elementary school.  They call you Otto because you let them know it bothers
you, and they get a kick out of it, like the kids who used to call me "Hess the
Mess" and other names until I wised up and ignored them (which I would also do
in these echoes, if someone called me a name.)  You have the power here, but
you let them have it.  Ignore the childish use of "Otto," regardless of how
often it is used, and just stick to the issues if you decide to respond to
posts of theirs.  This isn't rocket science.

In this respect, Ross, you're more mature than your opposition some of the time
(though you use such names as "Hardlygreased," "Widdle Timmy," etc, which
doesn't make you look good.)  John is right that he doesn't get upset over
being called things other than John.  Perhaps he feels it isn't worth the
effort to show himself to be bothered by such triviality, if he ever is
bothered by it.

That's to your credit.  Do the same with everyone, even those who don't use the
name you prefer.  That's the mature way to act.

YES, IT WILL!  But when you respond to the provocation, especially via
namecalling, you sink to the same level!  You're an adult - act like one, even
if your provocateurs don't.  That choice is all up to you.  How many times have
I tried to tell you this, yet you keep playing into their hands?  Do you
actually enjoy this at some level?  *adh*
