Lets take the last of your `hyperventilations' first:


There is not one single solitary thing you, John Massey, Ceppa, Klahn,
myself, or any other denizen can do about `war'; going on now, pending, or in
future years.


If any of us could.....you and your friends would have brought the war on
terrorists to an end before our side had gotten the chance to fire a shot!


Lets now deal with your `overall' hyperventilation:


Ice ages and tropical-like conditions have been coming and going since the
Earth first began long ago, will do so as long as Mankind has been or will be
in existance, and will be doing so till the day our Sun expands into a Red
Giant (which will encompass the orbit of the Earth, and make all life here
non-existent).


Prior to that occuring, Mankind will have long since become extinct
(approximately 3 to 5 *billion* years in the future, barring a nearby
Supernova, which will accomplish the task rather quickly).


The Earth has been shifting and `settling' in its orbit since the very
beginning of its existence, and the Sun undergoes changes in size and heat
output on a regular basis (did you know that the Sun actually `rings' like a
gigantic bell?).


Weather patterns change, tropical areas become inundated with glaciers for
long periods, followed by melting and receding ice.


Sometimes the Earth is closer to the Sun, sometimes further away. The Sun
changes in size, sometimes swelling, sometimes shrinking.


All this has been going on for eons and eons. Mankind has no more power to
change this, than you have to suddenly develope the ability to leap tall
buildings at a single bound!


Much of the reason that the change in weather patterns so concerns blowhard
idiots like Algore, is that Mankind has not been around and studying such
things all that long (speaking in terms of the age of the Earth and Sun).


We know only what has been recorded and studied during the last several
hundred years, which by comparison to the age of the Earth and Sun, is not
hardly even a drop in a bucket!


Algore knows no more about global warming than `you' know about differential
calculus!


His movie has about the same worth as a paper `you' would author and submit
to a `physics' publication, on the many uses of quantum particles!
