 I had to look something up in my archives. While searching I
 found a msg I thought might be worth reposting. It's got a lot
 we are discussing still, 7 years later, and at the end of the
 administration we dems warned you about back then.

 Ok the subject line was no more accurate than they are now.

 The federal reserve normally changes interest rates at least 1.5
 percentage points between every presidential election. This is the
 longest time between changes they have had. They normally change them
 opposite to the last change. Since rates were low after the last
 change, then waiting longer to change them means continued low rates,
 and prosperity. In about the last year they have raised rates 1point.
 Another half point to make their minimum. Expect a recession a year
 of so after that. Probably sometime in the next president's first
 term.

 Just looked up my 1997 statistical abstract...(that's two years old,
 they date it one year back.)

 Five percent of AFDC mothers were under 20.

 The majority of AFDC mothers were:

  Over 30

  White

  Have been married.

 civil service is much higher paid, compared to the average citizen's
 wages.

 BTW, that 30% of GNP he said went to taxes is state, local, and
 federal. It's also one of the lowest in the industrialized world.
