======================
TR> I recieved this at one of my e-mail addresses. It was
TR> forwarded to me by someone in Fido who does not post in
TR> this echo, therefore I do not mention that person's name.
TR> Many others who post in Fido know who that person is, so it
TR> isn't as though I'm not properly attributig it. But it sums
TR> up exactly the way I feel about it perfectly, and its bound
TR> to piss of `the usual suspects' in here. Gee.........thats
TR> too bad!
TR> Subject: Letter From One Angry Woman
TR> Letter from one "Angry Woman"
TR> I don't know who wrote it but they should have signed
TR> it. Some powerful
TR> words. This woman should run for president.
TR> Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like
TR> it! This is one ticked off lady.
It was written by a freelance, conservative, writer, Doug
Patton.

TR> "Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it
No, not really.
TR> or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to
TR> our shores on September 11, 2001?
Was it? Then why aren't we going after the people who started
it?
TR> Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans,
TR> not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan ,
TR> across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field
TR> in Pennsylvania ?
Were not tens to hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, who had
nothing to do with 9-11, killed because of the Bush invasion?
TR> Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die
TR> a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't
TR> they?
Did more American soldiers die fighting in a country that had
nothing to do with 9-11 than civilians died in the 9-11 attack?
TR> And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was
TR> "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it
TR> or got it wet?..Well, I don't. I don't care at all.
You should. If you don't you have no right to complain about
what Muslims do the the bible.
TR> I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and
TR> repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
Until then you will continue to cheer the deaths of innocent
people who had nothing to do with 9-11.
TR> I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the
TR> Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere
TR> possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia ..
Shouldn't you worry just as much about the fanatics in Christian
countries who want to discriminate against Muslims as much as
any fanatical Muslims want to discriminate against Christians?
TR> I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry
TR> for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed
TR> through his gurgling slashed throat.
When will the Blackwater guards tell the world they are sorry
they killed those innocent Iraqis?
TR> I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq
TR> come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their
TR> own religion by hiding in mosques.
Like the blackwater guards shoot them from helicopters?
TR> I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up
TR> in search of nirvana care about the innocent children
TR> within range of their suicide bombs.
And when they care about the children killed by American bombs?
TR> I'll care when the American media stops pretending that
TR> their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from
TR> international law instead of the United States
TR> Constitution's Bill of Rights.
Funny, no conservative has ever before told me our first
amendment rights were granted us by the constitution. They
always say they are inherent rights that are just recognized by
the constitution.
TR> In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine
TR> roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know
TR> this: I don't care.
In the meantime, I will remember the military forbids torture.
It's the civilian contractors, and Bush and Rumsfeld, who
believe in torture.
TR> When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners
TR> who have been humiliated in what amounts to a
TR> college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care.
When that act inspires others to attack and kill Americans you
won't care either will you?
TR> When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he
TR> is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you
TR> can take it to the bank: I don't care.
Funny, the Marine who killed him did care. Of course, that
Marine is a real man.
TR> When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a
TR> prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my
TR> tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being
TR> "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of
TR> hearts: I don't care.
Then you have no standing to complain about how the Saudis treat
our bible.
TR> And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's
TR> spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack
TR> Corn and-you guessed it-I don't care !!
Neither do I.
TR> If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your
TR> E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people
TR> responsible for this ridiculous behavior!
If you agree with this viewpoint you are as pathological as the
author.
TR> If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete
TR> button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't
TR> complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims
TR> happen here in our great Country! And may I add:
When the author shows he is going to fight the radical
Christian/Muslim/whatever terrorists I'll be interested in that.
TR> "Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they
TR> made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have
TR> that problem" -- Ronald Reagan
When I was canvasing in Toledo for Kerry in 2004, the first
house we stopped at was the home of a Marine who had been
discharged shortly before the Marine Unit in Beirut was blown
up. That was his unit. We spent about 20 minutes at that one
house with him talking about how much he hated Reagan as a
result of that. He blamed Reagan for the deaths of his buddies.
TR> One last thought for the day:
TR> In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the
TR> Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember
TR> England's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent
TR> interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why
TR> he believes so much in America, he said: "A simple way to
TR> take measure of a country is to look at how many want in..
TR> And how many want out."
Another way is how many the ruling party is willing to let in
to take the jobs of the working class.
TR> Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for
TR> you:
TR> 1. Jesus Christ
TR> 2. The American G. I.
TR> One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
I wonder which category the author fit in.
