  Yet they defend those who would spit on that constitution.
Besides, constitutional protections pertain to US citizens, not those 
who were picked up on the battle field on the other side of the planet.
And when you are at war, the rules change.

  That's correct, that is why we only used waterboarding and other harsh
interrogation methods.  Oh, so now they 'call' waterboarding 'torture'.
Waiting for the day where they call a spanking 'child beating'.
There is a big difference between a beating and a spanking...no matter
what sort of label you hang on the latter.  There is a big difference 
between sticking a read-hot poker in one's eye and waterboarding.  
Yet you have these things all lumped together.

  Who has made that claim, and moreover, how can they make that 
'estimation' when the detainees have yet to be tried?



DC>  That's why so many have been released under Bush.  

  Yet later many of them turn up at terrorist training camps and other
similar points of interest.   And how do you know they weren't released
just so they could find out where they would go and to whom they were
reporting to?

  Again, these individuals were picked up as enemy combatants.  
They weren't found sitting at home having dinner.  And they are not 
waterboarding or harshly interrogating everyone.  They usually know who
to interrogate through harsh measures and who not to.  

   While we're at it, conditions at Gitmo are much better than they are
in an average prison in the US, which are over crowded, for openers.
Gitmo inmates have better medical coverage than the average American.
Geeze, why don't they just stick their heads up their butts and get 
it over with?


 Q.  How do you tell the difference from foreign interests 
     trying to undermine our military and intelligence 
     through our legal system from the useful idiots who 
     have been 'inspired' to do it on their own?

 A.  You don't.  You just resist all such efforts with great scrutiny.


DC>  Many of the ones remaimimg can't be tried because of how they 
DC>  were handled at the site.  At least so,e of those rulings were  
DC>  made by a conservative judge.  She's not some "left wing wacko". 

  If it walks and squawks like one it usually is.  ie.RINO   Or she's 
just caving into pressure so she doesn't have to worry about unfriendly
encounters at the White House Ball.  God forbid someone walked up to her,
in front of all those party guests, and said: 'So I hear you support 
torture'.  Goodness.  Then what would she do?  'How horrible!'
People have gone along with the program for lesser considerations.
