I was alarmed at how many messages I had to reply to, until I noticed
there was a duplicate of this one. Now, I have one less drudgery to
deal with. <G+D>

As with a cancer diagnosis. Mine was a *slow* growth, that two had
misdiagnosed because of its rate of propagation. Today, when I hear a
speaker use, "Grow like a cancer." for dramatic effect, I can scoff.

Dad was in DAL for a few months, where we had to assign a level of
resuscitation to perform if he had a heart attack for instance. I was a
little uncomfortable assigning a level two, as physically, he is still
strong as a bull at seventy. Knowing he didn't wish any heroic efforts
to sustain his life made my decision that much easier.

He awoke from his stupor, so all worked out well in the end.

That's a tough one. Sorry to hear.

AH> I can relate to that too. We had to make room

Good 'exercise' isn't it? <G>

Just for the record, I'm using a different keyboard on this machine,
so where I was tending to miss a few letters on my compositions, I
now tend to bobble onto an errant key now, and yet the repeat rate <?>
seems a little reluctant to duplicate a letter in succession. The
old KB was a MS "Natural" one, that needed a jackhammer for me to
make my point, and this one is a wireless toy of board, that may be
missing the subsequent keypunch. For EG: The "Good" above almost
escaped as a "God". Just to prepare your *learned* eye. <G>

AH!!!! High of 8^C today! Maybe ten in other areas of the city. Maybe
your folks had the right idea.

Like I mentioned, I drove through Sask. twice in the past two weeks. I
sure love the looks of the weather on the prairies as it comes and
goes. I relish the fact that garden pests in particular are less
troublesome in a semi-arid climate than in anything else but a
desert... I loved Van. the last time I visited, but the hustle-bustle
and harried nature of the people almost found me giving a few a slap.

I was toying with moving back to Manitoba, but it was as hot as I
remember it, without *any* relief of the humidity. I think you had it
pegged, in saying I'll likely die with my boots on, (I almost dozed
off in them for a nap a few hours ago.) and I think you are going to
find those boots firmly planted in Alberta. Stranger things have
happened though, so I'll never say never... Again. <-|
