You can download SciTech SNAP Graphics for OS/2 version 3.0.6 from the
SciTech web site using the following URL:

This is a free update for registered users of SNAP Graphics 3.x for OS/2,
but it is NOT a free upgrade from version 2.x.  If you wish to  use it
beyond the 21 day trial period, you may purchase a license for  it in our

  The authors of EmperoarTV had this to say about SNAP overlays:

    "The key benefit for an end user is the simple, out of the box
    install with no need to hunt for any other third party products.
    Besides that, as an integral part of SNAP, the overlay is an
    offically tested and certfied driver function, on which the user
    can rely."

    "The user has greater control over overlay properties. For 
    example, WarpOverlay on Rage LT Pro doesn't support any 
    adjustments at all, while SNAP offers Brightness, Saturation 
    and Gamma."

    "Furthermore, it offers nice seamless window dragging."

  Developers wishing to add support for SNAP overlays into their
  own products will find what they need in the SNAP SDK:

* Added native panel programming for ATI Radeon chipsets.  This feature
  provides support for widescreen and other non-BIOS modes on digital
  flat panels, and allows MultiHead in DFP+CRT configurations.

    ATI Mobility Radeon 9800, Mobility Radeon X300

* Uses the latest GRADD components from IBM, version E.099
   This adds support for "Enhanced Suspend" and reduces the
   amount of shared memory used by fullscreen sessions.
