Corel bought out Jasc... Paint Shop Pro isn't based on Corel Draw at all,
Corel bought out Jasc.. made some minor updates to PSP, and included a much 
more intrusive authentication (registration validation) system into the 
installer, and made the version "10" up from 9 (the last Jasc version, which 
iirc was released under Corel's name, but was done in line with the buyout.)

Honestly, use what you are familiar with... I happen to like PSP, which 
supports Photoshop filters/plugins, and works pretty well.. it's become a bit 
bloated, but not nearly as much as Photoshop, and is about the same in a 
feature to feature comparison.

I can understand that.. I've always been less concerned about drive space, and 
more concerned about functionality... does it do what I want, how I want it 
to... if it does I usually use it.

Seagate is imho the best drive company, as far as reliability goes,
I've been using them pretty much exclusively for a while now...
