I can say a big Me Too! when it comes to people having very old electronic
equipment.

The Early Computers and/or Amateur Radio gear wasn't being used by many people
when I became interested in those things.

But I have met people who still had (or still used) the early State-Of-The-Art
Radio equipment, and I appreciated it when they let me see their collection.

Did Your IBM 8086 have a 10 Megabyte Hard Drive?
The XT Clone I used at work had a 10 MB HDD in it.

I sold the Hallicrafters S-38e Receiver at a Hamfest, and I gave my Knight-Kit
VFO to another Ham, who gave it to another Ham Friend who asked for it.
I got rid of some other Ham gear but I still have some of the older Ham Radio
equipment that I owned but doubt if it has any "historic value".

I know the Radio and Computer gear I have isn't real ancient stuff, I started
being interested in Shortwave/Ham Radio in the late 1950's and got my first
computer in the early 1980's, so it ain't old stuff, just old to Me.

You were probably using Amateur Radios and Computers 5 to 10 years (at least)
before I got interested in either of those things.

Were You and the XYL so impressed with the Aland Islands that You moved the
QTH there from Finland? I'm guessing Your OH2 Calls were in Finland.

Was that TX the one with a 4-65A Final Amplifier?
I loved the specs for that tube, but never had one in the Shack.

I haven't built any Home Brew Transmitters or Receivers, I've just built
Kits and small accessories from magazine articles.
