Hello Mark,

    Responding to a post in the WIN95 area:

I imagine that once I get W98SE "optimally tuned" (as if that is ever
possible), I can probably REM out the Setver 'cause I'll likely not be
using the OldDOS commands. ??

I had to create a 4MAT.BTM file to delete the 4DOS.COM (and the Drvspace or
Dblspace BIN files) command processor and copy the COMMAND.COM to the
floppy.

WAD? I can think of a more appropriate name for it, but not for public
display!  <grin>

I believe it was upper memory, but that is now resolved with the addition
of "LocalLoadHigh=1" in the System.ini file...

With MS taking that stance, I'm not surprised that people are adamant about
hacking MS' programs. I can't say that I aggree with MS (or the hackers)
and I'm continually searching for replacements of the MS 'suites'; and
(before you jump on me), OS/2 is not the answer, either...

           Cheers ... Gerald
