Getting a cold or Flu this time of year is no fun.  Hope you are getting 
better.

I'm with you on that.  We just experienced two outages at the church 
within a day of each other.  First, our DVD player died then the 
computer we use for displaying praise and worship Powerpoint slides in 
the sanctuary, gave out.  Lucky for us we had extended warranties on 
both.

I replaced the DVD player very easily, but the Compaq Presario computer 
is another matter.  I had to call customer service (in India!) and try 
to explain to someone who did not have a good command of English what 
was wrong.  Finally they referred me to tech support in the US where it 
was decided that the video chip on the motherboard failed.  Tuesday 
they're sending a local tech out to replace the motherboard.  Of course 
that may mean everything we have on the PC will be lost if a restore has 
to be done.

This Sunday (tomorrow) we're using a Dell notebook as a replacement for 
the Compaq.  I've got to go this afternoon and set everything up making 
sure it'll work for service time.
