Within Fidonet yes.

Fidonet is a confederation of sysops, some run BBS's, some do not.

You see I had assumed a Fidonet mail hub was filtering your mail as he received
it so as to not pass them onwards..

I am a Fidonet mailhub myself, as a matter of fact docsplace is a downlink of
mine, but Fidonet Mail Hubs who filter mail are frowned upon and none I know of
have done so, and nothing of the sort has taken place in a long time.

As for being a sysop confers some sort of rights, if you were a sysop and this
filtering had taken place, you might have been able to seek a remedy within
Fidonet, as it stands then and now, nope.

Like it or not, your access to Fidonet is at the pleasure of the sysop who
provides you the BBS to call into, I am not being cold and callous, just
stating a fact.
