And, the Wiz doesn't recognize the CD-RW as a device with

I think it probably works only for brand new setups.

It seems that XP can always see the other machine but not 
vis versa.  That doesn't mean it can access it though!

A lot of the protocols are not necessary.  Some are dangerous 
in that they allow outside hacking.

The main thing on that is using the ones that are usable in 
the local net only.  192.168.0.x cannot be accessed without 
network permissions set on the local machines.

One thing you don't want is "work group".  Notice the space 
in there.  It'll work in 98 but won't work in XP.
