Yes, linux has become the new/old Windows with a GUI, bloat,
and all that Windows users have learned to love. Granted, it's
much much prettier. :-)

Security by obscurity only works until "they" notice you are
out there.

There are other problems within the opensource community that
I'm reading about that sounds as though development is going to
become a bit choppy or possibly even stall. I only have one
life to live and don't think I can wait another decade to get
started on _my_ projects (i.e. multimedia).
