That is probably my fault (somewhat). I posted messages here
about a DVD dual-layer burner I tried to install that would not
allow my system to boot. After trying several variations
(hardware) I just gave up on it and got a CDRW 52x35x52 instead
(returned the DVD burner).

On some sites the video is trashed. I wonder why the
'webmaster' didn't test the video at least _once_ after
installing the link(s)? Even some msn.com videos are trashed
but not often.

I was on cable for about 8 months and had problems even then.
Now that I am on dial-up I _expect_ to have problems.

The producers (encoders) of the video don't seem to know what
they are doing 90% of the time and will link to 180kbps rate
files as "dialup". Obviously that assumption is ridiculous.

When the video is of some particular importance to me I will
try to read the source code of the webpage and construct a URL
that allows me to download the video to my hard drive. Even
then, some videos are just trashed and not viewable. :-\
