 Disagree.  W2K is a true business product.  It has, among other
 features the ability to join a domain, which lends itself immediately
 to networking as a workstation in the corporate environment,
 in conjunction with 2003 Server.

 XP is the successor to the 9X/ME line, or a true home product.
 XP Home cannot join a domain.  XP Pro can, and has also been used
 as a workstation, but probably with little advantage over W2K,
 other than its ability to run software that won't run on W2K.

 Whether MS intends to keep the business and home lines separate,
 or blend them is unclear at this point AFAIK (I am aware that
 Longhorn Server is scheduled to replace 2003 Server), but
 Vista appears to be another home targeted product.

 Suffice it to say that the hardware (especially video) is quite
 demanding, and would be pretty much wasted on anything intended
 to be used as a workstation in a corporate setting.

 If you want computer games, W2K is not your OS.
