I did notice some 'fuzziness' in the displayed 'map'. If you
noticed at the above tinyurl the article mentions that the
poles (north and south) require an 86? degree view that isn't
very accurate. The mapping is apparently done by satellites
orbiting more or less parallel to the equator with no
corrections from any orbiting parallel to latitudonal lines.

I've seen the graphic of the earth at night showing what areas
are well lit and what areas remain dark. It's a composite of
many graphics from many orbits of the earth. I would guess that
Google 'maps' are created in similar fashion (composites of
many graphics over many orbits). Could be Google chooses not to
combine as many for less populated areas to improve speed?

Assuming we have the hardware to read and display that much
information in some way that is truly effective and informative

When Gates announced his interest in "push technology" I knew
Microsoft was in trouble. I'm surprised it took this long for
it to become the disaster that it has.

Microsoft needs access to disable pirated software and cannot
