They're currently promoting the new Windows Live Mail Desktop as I
mentioned before, so yes a Hotmail account will still be free.  At
least for now anyway.

Most folks use OE because it's included with Windows.  You're kind of
stuck with it just like IE.  But even with its not so nice interface
and sometimes slow access, it's very easy to setup and use.  Both
Yahoo and Google can automatically use OE as a mail client even though
they're really HTTP access.  Very convenient.

I think most folks here in this forum were not aware of your
relationship with AOL.  I remember from some time ago that you posted
about being a beta tester for them and having free access.  But as you
say, now it's time to move on.
