        Do you have a Staples store in VR ?  Here they had a flyer
   with some Macs in it and as much as I tried, I could not find a
   cheap cost to any of them.

        We all have a cross to bear, he is one as a Mac user. Tee !
   hee ! He is getting to be a senior member now and his wages afford
   him all kinds of goodies, no restrain. This is why he goes for the
   best. But he is worst than I, he does not use 2% of what his system
   can do. Got a system with a +/- DVD burner and never even bought a
   blank DVD medium. All he does is surf, he does not even now have a
   printer of any kind. I think that a system without a printer is
   hobbling along.  That is me !

        There again is the 'me" syndrome. I am a tinkerer and have
   built or repaired all kinds of systems. To say nothing of
   outboards, airplane motors, clocks and what-have-you, I jump into
   anything electronic and learn as I go. This is why I could build
   this system here and it was with the help of JimH lately of O'do.

        Alan, do not get me wrong even if I could have left that
   impression. I know that the Mac is a fine machine, just not for me.
   My son does what he wants with his and so does his Mom now, I have
   a more simple system but I use it fully, methinks !

        I solemnly promise to never mention this again, it leads to
   nothing. To each his own.
     
       
...This system is back to MS Network.
