Albertans have been known to get *EXTREMELY* cold weather also, but this
year has been exceptionally mild (so far).

No, Christmas was all paid for (in cash), last year.  My bank has a policy
of holding all deposits for six working days before they release the funds.
I'm attempting to get my employer to do direct deposit to my account and
hope that will fix the "six day robbery"...

In any event, the six days is up tomorrow and I'll be heading back to the
store to get my 4GB of RAM, my three SATA drives and other ancillary
hardware.

It is definitely *NOT* less expensive to assemble your own machine!!!

Going the route that I have choosen was the _only_ way to obtain the custom
hardware that I wanted.

I have a "burning" question for you, or anyone as knowledgeable...

Windows XP Pro comes in two "flavors".  Correct?  By that, I mean 32-bit
and 64-bit.

How does one determine if they are getting the 64-bit version or is that a
special order?
