Not I.
I had 1024x768 using an experimental video driver for an advanced video card of
the time before further 3.1 development was halted.

I need to run 1280x1024 but I don't do Windows.
I need it for high definition movies on the Pentium 450 MHz

Adjust the refresh rate to the bleeding edge of the monitor.
I like CRT's as people are all the time throwing them away :-)

I just add a change as needed on the fly here.

I was very careful dragging mine home from the trash a block away 
while walking the dog.

Might stress the hardware drivers charging and discharging the
capacitance of the display as that's proportional to the refresh rate
as is the current draw but I am unsure about that.
As long as the refresh is at a 50 percent duty cycle I don't imagine
any harm being done.
