my problem is locating it in firefox's cache... they don't have extensions...
about the only thing i can look for is to sort the dir output in date order and
then look for the newest large file... one of the "tricks" that they are doing
is to set the vids to that they carry a no-caching instruction so that the
browser doesn't even write them to the drive... it takes a proxy server or some
type of filter to kill that no-cache instruction or at least alter it to one
that does allow caching...

yes, i've got that, too... i just haven't taken the time to actually use it :p

i did have to look for something to play the flvs... i had wanted to see the
recent news footage where pres. clinton torn in to that reporter... i missed it
when it was originally on tv... i found it somewhere but didn't want to have to
always stream it so i grabbed it and have a copy loaded in my online gallery
which has facilities for addons to handle multimedia videos and such... i've
several videos that use flash video, or quicktime, or windows media formats...
i don't think i've any other formats but if so, they're pretty easy to add to
the gallery with a li'l php workout O:)

well, actually... i was talking with JE about what his nephew or grandson
(can't remember which) was trying to do by "installing" youtube on the machine
that he had specifically been told to not install anything on... turns out, the
kid had created a directory called youtube but we're only guessing and
speculating about why he created that directory...
