        Of course, Robert. Excuse my poor semantics. I was tilling at
    the wrong windmill. I understood that the discussion was about not
    being able to clone a volume if it was over the 4 gb limit on a
    FAT32 volume. It has nothing to do with this.

        Using TI to clone a HD ( volume ), it will first format the
    destination and there is the specific warning about it. I do not
    know what FAT it formats to at that time but it is immaterial as
    doing the clone, it will adapt the destination to whatever the
    source was. That is what my eyes see. I have here a FAT32
    destination ( mirror ) on a 30 gb HD from a 40 gb and the volume
    is of 11.4 gbs. The destination does not have to be of the same
    size as the source, only large enough to accept whatever is on the
    source. Again, this is what my eyes see.

        I gleefully concede to Charles that there is in FAT32 a 4 gb
    limit. Hey, this is a binary law. Even here on my NTFS volume, I
    do not have a file/folder over that limit, nopro !
