Glad to hear you got it resolved.  Now you need to let her know that it may be
time to purchase another hard drive.  Once bad blocks show up or sectors become
corrupt, it's a good indication that the drive is beginning to fail.  I had a
similar experience with the main computer at the church.  While I was able to
do some repairs on the drive it wasn't long after that the drive completely
failed.  No amount of chkdsk or manufacturer's diagnostics could bring it back
to life.  It was a stroke of luck that I had made a complete TI image backup of
the drive the day before it failed otherwise we would have lost valuable data.
