I am sending you a time machine, when it arrives, I want you to get inside of
it, it is pre-programmed to send you back to the same amount of months after
the release of XP as we are past the release of Vista.

SAME AMOUNT OF BITCHING!

I was there, I heard it, this device, this software no longer works!

Of course then, the main issue was weaning the DOS weanies off of DOS.

In some respects Vista is as different from XP as XP is different from
Win95/98/98se/ME.

I have said this before, if someone has a XP machine, its fast enough for them,
is working ok, then there is no real reason for them to upgrade to Vista, at
this time.

Fundementally, there isnt anything wrong with Vista, not anything moreso over
XP, the problem is that like in the aftermath of the XP release in 2001, many
software and hardware vendors have been slow in releasing compatible version.

THIS IS NOT MICROSOFT'S FAULT!

AAMOF, with the delays Vista had with its release, these vendors even had more
time to react, yet did not.

I am still waiting for Netgear to update its drivers for a lan storage device I
have, they promised it by the second quarter of 2007, yet no update, but to
hear your take, this is MS's fault.

I realize people in your years are resistant to change, but yesterdays
operating systems arent good enough for todays hardware, that is if you want to
use said hardware to its potential.
