The beauty of the new Intel Macs is that you can have the best of both
worlds being able to run OS X and Windows XP or Vista.  As far as taking
a Mac apart, I'm sure that you would find a way.  :)

Nothing wrong with OS X but there are some programs and games which are
not available for the Mac.  With the new iMacs and their very capable
Intel CPUs it's now possible to be able to run both.  Apple's next
operating system due out this Fall (Leopard) will have a new version of
Boot Camp built in.

It's because you're a more capable computer user than your
son or wife.

When my son was only using PCs he would call and ask questions on how
to do something that I considered routine and simple.  He had no idea
how to do it.  I label that as being computer illiterate which has nothing to
do with hardware.
